چکیده

XtreemOS-MD SSO is a modular, pluggable, Single SignOn (SSO) architecture. It has been conceived for easy integration of mobile devices into the Grid as part of XtreemOS project, but it may be reused by any other project. It offers semi-transparent integration with applications and makes easier the migration from enterprise servers to cloud computing infrastructures. XtreemOS-MDSSO is inspired in LinuxKeyRetention Service (LKRS) with some enhancements and may interact with it, but it’s designed to run completely in user space, not requiring any special kernel support.

XOS-SSH: A Lightweight User-Centric Tool to Support Remote Execution in Virtual Organizations

Large-scale virtual organizations (VOs) often comprise resource providers from different administrative domains, each probably with a specific security model. Grids try to solve this problem by providing a new security infrastructure featured with single-sign on (SSO). However, the usability of Grids is often impaired by the complicity of configuring and maintaining the new security infrastruct...

Single Sign-On in Service-Oriented Computing

Support for Single Sign-On (SSO) is a frequently voiced requirement for Service-Oriented Computing. We discuss SSO strategies and approaches, their requirements and constraints. The two most prominent approaches in this field are presented, i.e. Microsoft Passport and Liberty Alliance. Because implementations of Liberty were not widely available and in order to understand the conceptual implica...

XtreemOS-MD: Grid Computing from Mobile Devices

Grid and Cloud computing are well known topics, and currently one of the focus of many research and commercial projects. Nevertheless, the transparent access to Grid facilities from mobile devices (like PDAs or smartphones) is normally out of the scope of those initiatives, taking into account the intrinsic limitations of such devices: screen size and resolution, storage capacity, computational...

Architecture Framework for Device Single Sign On in Personal Area Networks

This paper addresses the Single Sign On (SSO) issue in personal Area Networks (PANs) comprising of heterogeneous handheld devices. Architectures for service SSO solutions at the enterprise level are already in the market and some standards for such solutions exist. In this paper however we introduce the notion of device level SSO. By device SSO, we refer to the process of logging on to one devi...

Automatic recognition, processing and attacking of single sign-on protocols with burp suite

SAML, Mozilla BrowserID, OpenID, OpenID Connect, Facebook Connect, Microsoft Account, OAuth — today’s web applications are supporting a large set of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. Some of them have common properties and behavior, others are completely different. This paper will give an overview of modern SSO protocols. We classify them into two groups and show how to distinguish them from each...
